You can take a walk along the 1.3 mile St. Michaels Nature Trail. The paved trail crosses over San Domingo Creek and has a parking lot off Talbot Street across from the Bay Hundred Community Pool. You can also park at the other end of the trail at Bradley Park off Railroad Avenue. The serene trail makes it hard to believe the hustle and bustle of Talbot Street is only steps away.
Rent a bike from Shore Pedal & Paddle and ride around St. Michaels and beyond. The town is flat which makes it enjoyable to bike whether for an hour or the day.
7. Venture Over To Tilghman Island
Tilghman Island is a watermen’s village about 20 minutes from St. Michaels by car.
You will cross the Tilghman Island Drawbridge to get to the island. It’s an actual working drawbridge so if you’ve never seen one before it’s fun to watch the bridge rise up and down as boats pass.
