1. Explore The Bucks County Children’s Museum

The museum is located right in historic New Hope. Parking is super convenient since there is a public parking lot at the museum.
Museum admission is reasonable and you can buy your tickets online before you visit, which is recommended.
The museum has storage cubbies so you can store your gear and outerwear. Being hands-free makes it so much easier to keep up with your toddler at the museum.
There is a lot to do at the museum so you can plan to spend between 60 and 90 minutes. Your toddler can engage in pretend play at the hospital, watch scarves soar through air tubes, play with a magnetic ball drop, and build a racetrack.
There is also waterplay. Smocks are provided, but bring a change of clothes just in case.
2. Take A Ride On The New Hope Railroad
Taking a ride on the New Hope Railroad is sure to delight your little one.
The railroad offers a variety of experiences and most train rides last between 45 minutes to one hour.

There is a private parking lot at the railroad; however, it is a lot more expensive than public parking. There is a public parking lot at The Bucks County Children’s Museum and the lot is just on the other side of the train tracks so try to park there if spots are available.
3. Walk The New Hope-Lambertville Bridge
You can walk this bridge to get from New Hope, PA to Lambertville, NJ, which is pretty awesome since it’s not every day you walk between states. If you are starting in New Hope, you can cross the bridge by foot on the right side of the bridge.
The bridge spans the Delaware River so you might spot some boats on the water during your walk, which will entertain your little one. Not to mention all the vehicles they will see driving on the bridge that will capture their attention.
The walkway is paved and wide enough for a stroller. It will take about 10 – 15 minutes to cross the bridge in one direction. You can plan for a 20 – 30-minute round trip unless you plan to do some exploring in Lambertville.
4. Enjoy A Quiet Moment At Lenape Park
Lenape Park is small and tucked away so you might miss it if you don’t know to look for it. The entrance to the park is located at the intersection of Stockton Avenue and West Ferry Street in New Hope.
The trees at the park provide shade and there are some benches, a gazebo, and a water feature. It is a great place to take a rest and have a snack.

Solebury Orchards is not located in historic New Hope so you will have to drive there.
There is plenty of parking on-site and parking is free. When you pull in, you will see a small parking lot at the market. You can only park in this lot if you are stopping in quickly to pick up products at the market. If you are going to pick your own produce or flowers, then you will need to park around the back. There are plenty of signs to direct you.
If you visit Solebury Orchards in the summer or fall, you can pick your own produce. They have blueberries, blackberries, peaches, cherries, and apples The type of fruit available for picking depends on the time of year.
They also have a flower garden so you can cut your own flowers to create a bouquet.
Your toddler will enjoy the hands-on experience of picking their own fruits and flowers. It is also a great way for them to learn about fruits and flowers, such as what they are, how they are grown, what they can be used for, and how to tend to them.
6. Visit Peddler’s Village

At Giggleberry Fair, the best toddler activities are the carousel and toddler playroom. Only children aged 6 and under are allowed in the toddler playroom, which makes it easier for your little one to enjoy.
